I'm a documentary family and wedding photographer in Montreal, and I'm here for the messy, beautiful, wonderfully ordinary parts of life.

I want to photograph your family as it actually is, I want to freeze this time of your life in time. 

The wild mornings, the snack breaks, the couch cuddles, the tiny details you swear you'll remember forever, the ones you tried to photograph a million times that take up 70% of your camera roll… All the in-between moments that somehow become the ones you miss the most. And yes… even the tantrums.  

I also photograph weddings with the same approach: less worrying about looking perfect, less forced smiles and stiff poses, more being completely in it. My photography focuses on connection and real life. I don't need everyone looking at the camera and I don’t need everyone to force a smile.. honestly, I'd rather they didn't. I'll give you a little direction when you need it, but mostly I'm there to notice things as they unfold. 

But enough about photography. Who am I?

I married a chef in 2021 and together we’re raising two little rascals. Right now, our top three family activities are scootering in the alley behind our appartment building, eating Popsicles (very much a year round thing), and reading “one more story!” until we admit to ourselves it is way past bedtime.

We also have Pancake Fridays and weekly naan pizza nights, because apparently every family needs a few completely arbitrary traditions to make life feel extra special.

I’m also a hobby collector. Mostly anything textile-related, sewing, crochet, and probably several projects I absolutely do not need to start (ie. That embroidered butterfly I started and stopped 6 years ago but refuse to get rid of and that Frog and Toad cross stitch pattern I’ve purchased because.. ONE DAY I’ll do it! I’m also loving lino carving and slowly rediscovering my love of reading.

These days I mostly read romance, spicy or otherwise, depending on the mood. (Although Red Rising remains my all-time favourite series.)

Basically, I’m much more comfortable with a camera in my hands than writing a bio about myself. But I think it matters that you know a little about the person behind the camera.

Because I don’t just want to photograph your family. I want to hear about the vacation plans, the new milestones. I want you to be able to drop in my DMs to confess you had a hard time this morning because you packed up your daughter’s car to see her off to university.

I want to feel like I know your family. I hope to be your photographer for years to come so I can build an whole anthology of your family’s memories.
